OFFICE FURNITURE & WORKPLACE DESIGN FAQ's
Got Questions? We've got answers.
Here's what prospective and existing clients ask us most about office furniture, workplace design, and how we work, so you can skip the guesswork and get straight to the good stuff.
?
It depends, and yes, we know that's not the answer you were hoping for. There are so many variables it's impossible to give you an accurate number without some discussion. Office furniture projects can range from a few thousand dollars to well into six figures depending on scope, product selections, and the size of your space. We work with a wide range of budgets and are always upfront about where your dollars are going and we pride ourselves on being strong stewards of your financial investment. The best way to get a real number? Let's talk about your space.
How much does commercial office furniture cost?
How long does an office furniture project take?
Timelines vary based on the complexity of your project and product lead times, but most projects run anywhere from a few weeks to a few months from design through installation. Custom or large-scale buildouts may take longer. We'll map out a realistic timeline early on so there are no surprises — and we're obsessive about keeping things on track.
Do you offer space planning services?
Absolutely. Space planning is one of our favorite things to nerd out on. We'll look at your square footage, headcount, work styles, and growth plans to create a layout that works for your needs today and beyond. Whether you're starting from a blank floor plan or rethinking what you've got, we're on it.
What is included in workplace design?
More than picking out chairs! Our workplace design process is tailored to each client and can include space planning, furniture specification, finish and material selection, budgeting, procurement, and installation management. We think about how people actually use a space, how they collaborate, focus, and move through their day, and design around that.
Do you work outside of Kansas City?
We do. Kansas City is home base, but we work with clients nationally. We're also actively serving the Dallas, TX, Denver, CO and Phoenix, AZ markets. If your project is somewhere else entirely, let's talk — we've got the infrastructure and the partnerships to make it work no matter where you are.
